​David Eksteen is a strong believer in getting growers together to share their experiences. Growers learn the most from other growers. They learn about what works, what not to do and if they are on the right track. 

 

David has run grower groups since starting work in South Africa when he started promoting soyabean production. The group ran for over a decade showing how important it is for growers to get together to share their experiences.

 

In Western Australia he ran grower groups while looking at how canola fits into the crop rotation. Currently he is running grower groups in the Walbundrie area of NSW. The aim of these groups is to look at how productivity can be optimised and thus profitability while not forgetting sustainability.
